If you don't care about not having 4K and want a small, simple device that can handle 1080p Kodi, as well as Netflix and Amazon Prime Instant Video, this is the best Kodi streaming box for you. Testing, we found that our 1080p videos played smoothly 4K videos launched and were downscaled, but we soon ran into buffering problems as the Fire TV struggled to keep up with the high quality video. Keep in mind that the Fire TV’s HDMI output only supports up to 1080p video.
